The side effects and dangers of synthetic hormones

Synthetic hormones are produced as pills, creams and patches to treat symptoms of menopause and andropause. There are a limited number of doses to choose from and can't be tailored your individual needs and symptoms. 45% of men and women do not consistently absorb the hormones in patches or creams. I pelleted a friend of mine 5 months ago who had been on compounded hormone replacement cream for years. She was still having hot flashes, night sweats, difficulty sleeping, and irritability. Her estradiol and testosterone levels were as low as mine were before pelleting, and I had taken NOTHING during the two years I had been in menopause. She now feels like a new woman!!

There are potential and unnecessary effects of oral estrogen therapy including:

  • Breast tenderness
  • Increased risk of endometrial cancer and breast cancer
  • Vaginal bleeding
  • Headaches
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Fluid retention
  • Blood clots
  • Leg cramps
  • Gallstones
BioTE bio-identical hormone pellet replacement therapy is safe, biologically effective, convenient and consistent. After these pellets are produced, they are voluntarily submitted to the FDA for quality assurance monitoring.
