Living Social, Botox deal July 16th

A quick note to let you know Sei Bella Med Spa will have a Living Social deal for Botox starting on Monday July 16th. If you are not already subscribed to Living Social go to and sign up. It's quick, free and easy. This is the first time I've done a Living Social Deal. I've always done Groupons in the past, so you'll have to let me know what you think about it.
Botox is one of the safest, cheapest things you can do to take years off your face. The results usually last 3-4 months. We can smooth out forehead lines, frown lines, crows feet, and those annoying lines around your mouth that cause your lipstick to track upwards toward your nose!
If you've never had Botox before, this is an excellent way to try it out. For you pros, buy it and bank it with us if you don't need it right now. As long as you redeem that certificate before the expiration date, your units are good forever.
One last thing, I'm considering a Botox/Radiesse/Juvederm/Sonya Dakar party.
Everything would be discounted for attendees. What I need is a nice, convenient place in Little Rock to have it where we can spread out just a little. If you know somewhere that would be nice, convenient, and very inexpensive, let me know.
Thanks and get your Botox at on Monday July 16th.

July Newsletter

Happy 4th of July! Hope all of you have a great holiday! I know the firework displays have been dampened this year, but I suppose the holiday is about celebrating our freedom anyway.

Just a reminder to PLEASE wear sunscreen. Skin cancer has increased exponentially over the last couple decades from both sun exposure and tanning beds. There is a short post about the new FDA requirements for sunscreen. They must have UVA and UVB protection.

If you use tretinoin (Retin-A, Renova), you may want to consider switching to retinol over the summer. Both are Vitamin A derivatives, but tretinoin is much stronger and makes you extremely sun sensitive. I use the Young Pharmaceuticals Retinol 50 solution. The jar holds 60 pads which lasts two months. It retails for $52. You use one pad on your face and neck each night. No peeling and no burning when you go out in the sun. Retinol 50 helps with fine lines, and evens out your skin tone, too.

The raffle we did went very well! I raised $1037 for the Children's Tumor Foundation.  You can see a picture from the party at Solemates on Facebook at    While you're there "Like" us. Congratulations to our raffle winners: Erin Davis, Kay Parda, and Diane Jones. I'm running the New York Marathon Nov 4th with the NF Endurance Team. If you still want to offer support to find a cure for neurofibromatosis, you can make a donation at

I'm going to send out a separate email about my new Berkeley HeartLab Living4myheart program. In the future I'm going to be focusing the medical part of my practice on cardiac wellness. This program utilizes genetic testing and biomarkers to determine the need for cholesterol medications, specific nutritional needs, and tells me your risk of heart disease and stroke and if you are at risk for other problems that need to be screened for. So watch for that.

Have a fun, safe, and relaxing 4th! As always let us know how we can you relax, renew and rejuvenate!
